Three Hour Trips - great for families

Our three hour fishing trips have been a huge hit with families with youngsters who would like to get their children out on the water (some for the first time in their lives). We start with reef fishing then move to bottom fishing targeting snapper, morwong, flathead and gummy sharks. This is also a great trip for those a bit short on time or just want a quick and easy fishing trip.

Four Hour Trips - Reef Fishing

‘Our four hour reef fishing trips provide the perfect combination of time on the water while maximising our chances of getting a nice feed of fish. We spend a good amount of time fishing local reefs looking for snapper, morwong, nanigai, kingfish and other reef species. If things are quiet we will go looking for flathead and gummy sharks.

Five Hour + Trips

Due to the popularity of our three and four hour trips our five hour fishing trips and longer are now, generally, reserved for private charter only. We will be offering 5hr trips during the quieter months as share charters so be sure to look out for them.
If you do have a group and would like a longer than 4hr trip get in touch by phone or email at any time of year and we will get it organised for you.

Shared Charter Prices are per individual. We like to limit our fishing numbers to a maximum of eight people, and ten in the busy times as this gives us plenty of room to fish without being on top of each other.

Private Charter Prices are for you to use the boat however you would like*. Eg Bottom/reef fishing, Whale watching, Bird watching or just to cruise around our stunning coastline.

We can cater for groups up to 12 people. 

*Excludes Game fishing Trips.

• We supply all your fishing gear, bait and fishing licences. We also clean and bag your catch at the end of your trip.

• Please bring appropriate clothing and something to eat and drink.

• We recommend Kwell sea sickness tablets.

Our new boat launched November 2020

It’s unbelievably great

 After close to 30 years of loyal and reliable service from our original vessel, Broadbill, it was time for an upgrade.

The design brief was simple enough, a user friendly, full walk around cabin design that is both great as a fishing platform and for whale and dolphin watching. Add to that list, it needed to be fast with a shallow draft to navigate our shallow bar.

John Pontifex from Plate Alloy Australia was enlisted to design our boat, Andrew Gatt to build it and Merimbula Mowers and Marine to fit it out.

The result is spectacular. We couldn’t be happier.

At 11m in length, a 3.7m beam and powered by twin 300hp Yamaha engines it provides a magnificent fishing platform. She gets us to our destination faster than ever before which allows us to go further afield in the same time frame.

We have a toilet and hand washing facilities on board.
